Do I need an account to use Group List?

No. The app can be used without an account; however, an Apple ID is required in order to use the sharing and syncing features.


How is my privacy protected?

We do not have access to your personal information associated with your Apple ID. The app uses the memory on your device and your personal iCloud storage to save and sync your lists. Group List is not recommended for storing sensitive data such as passwords or personal information. Please review the privacy policy for more information.


How do I share a list?

Tap the group icon next to the list you would like to share.  You can then select the method you would like to use to send a link for the list.  The recipient can then select the link to join the list and start sharing.  The group icon can also be accessed from inside the list in the top menu.


Why can't I share my list?

Sharing requires the user to have an internet connection and an Apple ID.  To enable the use of your iCloud storage go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud, then turn on iCloud Drive. For further assistance please contact us at support@grouplist.app.


Why is my list not updating?

We recommend that you check your internet connection and make sure you are logged in to your Apple ID to enable sharing with groups.  Syncing between multiple devices requires all the devices to be using the same Apple ID.


Why does Group List use subscriptions?

Group List uses subscriptions in order to maintain and continue to support the development of the app.  We appreciate the support our customers provide and we strive to add features and continue to improve Group List in the future.


How do I reset the app?

If you experience difficulties we recommend attempting to sync the app in the menu settings.  The app can also be completely reset from the menu settings.  The reset option will completely delete all of your lists.  For further assistance please contact us at support@grouplist.app.


Why are my settings different on other devices?

Certain features such as ordering, colors, and settings are not shared between users and devices. This is to allow for users to customize the list according to their own preferences.


How many lists can I create?

The free version of the app allows you to create up to 3 lists.  Upgrading to the pro version allows you to create up to 200 lists.  We feel that this should be sufficient for most users while avoiding any performance or storage issues on your device.

The free version of the app allows you to create up to 25 items per list.  Upgrading to the pro version allows you to create up to 300 items per list.  We feel that this should be sufficient for most users while avoiding any performance or storage issues on your device.
